Thomas joined ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø University in 2023 and is Head of ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø Business School and Senior Lecturer in Management with a focus on International Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
Thomas was previously Director of Glasgow Caledonian University’s British School of Leadership and Management in London. Prior to joining academia, Thomas worked in a range of different roles internationally in small and medium sized organisations in the private and third sector across a range of service industry contexts from educational travel to fashion e-commerce.
His main responsibilities included coordinating and restructuring processes and information flows to meet customer needs in different international markets. Thomas is a Senior Fellow with AdvanceHE (formerly Higher Education Academy) with a passion for cross culturally inclusive learning.
He has worked on institutionally seed-funded QAA Scotland Enhancement Theme projects with focus on international student transitions and group work within UK Higher Education but contributed to a number of Erasmus+ funded capacity building projects; specifically on international inclusive programme design (), ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍøment of intercultural competence in higher education staff in Latin America () and enhancing blended learning and curriculum design as part of FinTech master programmes in Southeast Asia ().
