I hold a PhD in business and management, as well as a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I also have a Postgraduate Certificate in Technology Enhanced Learning. I am a fully qualified teacher (PGCE ages 5-18) and a Senior Fellow of HEA.
My PhD used analytical methods derived from ethnographies of communication and interactional sociolinguistics to track the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍøment of Personal Team Familiarity in virtual teams as they communicated with one another via WhatsApp.
Active Research Interests
I am currently exploring marking and feedback practices among business school lecturers using the "Think Aloud" methodology.
