1. Follow us on LinkedIn
Even at this early stage of your academic career it is useful to think about how others can contribute to your success. While networking might be an unfamiliar concept right now, it is never too early to broaden the base of people who could support your academic career.
If you do not already have a LinkedIn profile, it is a good idea to get one started as you begin your academic career at ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø. Connect with academic staff and other students from both your course and wider area of study.
Look for updates from LinkedIn on networking and training events taking place both in-person and online, many of which are free.
ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø Business School and ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø Global have their own dedicated LinkedIn pages which are also worth a follow.

2. Catch up with the QMYOU Magazine
Keep up to date with a range of exciting news and initiatives from ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø as we shine a spotlight on the excellent work of our researchers and academics, as well as our inspirational students and graduates.
3. Pick up a piece of ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙÍø merchandise

While it may be early in your university journey it’s never too soon to think about your future career. Whether you already have a clear pathway in mind, or have absolutely no idea where you want to work, ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁϱ¬ÁϹÙ꿉۪s Careers and Employability team may be able to help.

Whilse some of the content available via the channel is Edinburgh-focussed, a good number of videos and guidance created by students for students can offer you some interesting perspectives and guidance. Worth a watch!
